My 32 years of experience with product durability and performance testing, data acquisition, data analysis, and validation in the automotive and agriculture vehicle industries is leveraged into my services. My life long passion for programming and electronics, together with my professional experience, brings a full scope of mechatronic solutions to my customers.

As of 5 Mar 2020, Mechatronic Solutions LLC 081399561 / 8HHB0 is is active in the U.S. federal government's System for Award Management (SAM). As such, I am eligible to do business with the Federal government.
I began my career working in the automotive industry for 22 years in the roles of testing, new product design, and manufacturing process development. My contributions included transforming the company from a ‘manufacture to print’ supplier, to one that fully engineered products as a ‘full service supplier’ for GM, Ford, Toyota, Chrysler, BMW, and Rover. Seeing trouble on the horizon (automotive industry crisis of 2008–2010), I embarked on a new career in the agriculture equipment industry at CNH Industrial in 2006.
For six years I worked in quality & reliability, then product validation at CNH Industrial. From 2012 to 2017 I was a member of a group at CNH Industrial tasked with providing mission data to groups globally for accelerated product validation. My specific task was to manage the development of a Mission Data Management System (MDMS) for the collection and storage of field test data, and to make the data easily accessible to users globally. I exceeded that initial scope, developing the majority of the code behind the MDMS myself, while simultaneously deploying and training users globally, and collecting data locally.
In November 2017 I retired early from CNH Industrial so that I would have the flexibility to travel with my wife on our boat and RV. Despite the travel, I have plenty of time to pursue my passion of mechatronics, IoT, and Big Data management and analysis projects as a freelance engineer.
